What does an interior design project consist of?

An interior design project is much more than the choice of materials, colors or furniture. It is a process of analysis, design and planning that allows a space to be transformed in a coherent, functional way and adapted to the needs of those who are going to inhabit or enjoy it.

Before starting any work or requesting quotes, it is essential to define what you want to achieve, how the space will be distributed and what solutions will be applied. A well-developed project allows you to make judicious decisions, anticipate possible problems and optimize both the investment and the final result.

In our studio we develop each project in three main phases:

1. Preliminary project

It is the creative and strategic phase. We analyze the space, listen to the client's needs and define the bases of the project. We study the distribution, functionality, aesthetics, materials and atmosphere that we want to achieve, using plans, visual references, moodboards and 3D representations that help visualize the final result.

2. Technical project

Once the design is approved, we develop all the necessary documentation to make it a reality. This phase includes the construction solutions, installations, lighting, finishes and all the details that will allow the project to be executed with precision.

It is also at this time that real and comparable budgets can be requested, since all important decisions have been previously defined.

3. Direction and execution

During the work we supervise that everything is executed as planned, coordinating the different professionals involved and resolving any incident that may arise. Our goal is to ensure that the final result faithfully reflects the designed project.
